Stylein combines international femininity with contemporary edge in a unique simplistic expression. In the world of Stylein, these contrasts form a perfect harmony.
Stylein is a Swedish fashion company, launched in 2001 by founder and chief designer Elin Nyström, while living in New York City. Stylein showed its first handmade collection in 2001, while Elin studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in New York. After returning to her native country of Sweden in 2003, Stylein has continuously grown and is now based in Stockholm.

Today, Stylein is available in selected stores worldwide.

Stylein Superstar – fall/winter 2013
Stylein’s Fall/Winter 2013 is a celebration of strong personalities who have created their own reality; Performers, artists and visionaries who all refused to listen to their critics, and went their own way.
A fictional muse has the leading role. She moves freely through different situations and changes her shape based on her ambiance. The result is a collage of contrasting surfaces and silhouettes.
Stylein’s familiar straight and clean lines are highlighted by masculine tailoring meeting feminine shapes, creating striking contrasts. The collection’s color scheme includes deep plum and dark emerald with playful accents of raspberry, copper and icy grey, bringing lightness to the collection. The exclusively designed print, mirrors a colorful surface as well as a shattered reality. A black and emerald shimmering cupro fabric adds weight and glamour to the straight silhouettes.

With this collection, Stylein introduces an ornamental and luxurious lace, to be worn closely to the body under layers of silk, wool and suede.
The muse moves freely between eras and environments. One day, she is a wild bird. The next day, she dances with the superstars at Studio 54.

"We like the feeling of being in the wrong context. To bring your own glamorous world into a mundane everyday life, without letting your environment affect you", says Stylein’s Chief of Design, Elin Nyström.
